The Burning
Times
Many studies of Witchcraft believe that the Burning Times are no longer of importance in today's world. Some feel that because most of the people burned during these times weren't witches but rather people under suspicion of murder, robbery or other heinous crimes thought to be the product of witchcraft, it has no bearing on our lives today.
The fact is that no matter what beliefs those burned had, they were being killed because someone believed they were a witch. We who are truly studies of the old religion should feel a connection to the Burning Times. Those people didn't deserve to die, no matter what religion they chose to follow, no matter what God they chose to worship, no matter what rituals they chose to do.
